March’s Attribute Challenge… 2

Hello everyone,

I pray all is well. The past week or so, I have been working on being more intentional about writing/scripting. Since last week’s post on this topic, I have worked on a few VERY rough drafts of scripts (Solomon’s Kayin’s, and Abaddon’s), and sent one of them to an editor to get some free feedback.

For the remainder of February, I will be continuing to practice scripting consistently. Beginning March 1st, I will commit to writing/script every day during the month, whether it’s for 30 minutes or 3 minutes. The goals are three-fold: to (1) develop a habit/disposition towards writing/scripting and wanting to get better, (2) actually getting better, and (3) focus more on approaching this comic-creation endeavor in a way that reflects my relationship with God.

Regarding (3), I’ve also decided to embark on an attribute challenge in March. Each day, I will focus on a particular attribute of either God or Jesus. This will help create more synergy between my desire to create quality and relevant comics, and my desire to follow in Christ. I will post an update to the blog everyday, highlighting the focal attribute for that day. I’m sure this challenge will also provide me with some good material for potential stories.

Would you like to join me? Whether it’s on the writing or attributes end, I invite anyone who is interested to join me and spread the word. Also, feel free to send me any attributes you are focusing on, as well as a scripture that illustrates that attribute. You can do so by e-mail, Facebook, or Twitter. All of my info is located on the “Contact” page.

Take care and have a great day!
