Attribute Challenge Day 31: The Source (Everything)

Hello everyone,

I pray all is well. The last attribute to round out this month’s challenge, is God and Jesus as the source (everything). After all of the choices, opportunities, interactions, friendships, relationships, and accomplishments, the only thing that matters is my relationship with God and Jesus. In particular, whether I lived a life pleasing to them, and if I contributed to being a light in the world. I pray that I am constantly reminded that for me, everything begins and ends with God and Jesus.

Today’s scripture comes from Psalms 16: 2 & 7-8 (NIV), where David addresses this same notion:

“I said to the Lord, ‘You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.” – Psalm 16: 2

“I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” – Psalm 16: 7-8

This month has been an amazing and enriching journey for me. A special thank you to everyone who followed along, contributed, or told me they were inspired. I pray that within and throughout my life, I continue to reflect on the attributes of God and Jesus, and what those attributes mean for my relationship with them, as well as with others.

Take care, and God bless!
