Hello everyone,

Today it is my pleasure to recommend J. Michael Straczynski’s Rising Stars. I think so highly of this comic, that it passed X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills and became my favorite comic to-date. It revolves around a large event that gave some children in a small town unique abilities. It focuses on how these children made sense of their abilities, how the government and others responded to them, and the different paths that they took as they got older. All of these themes are flushed out in the context of a serial killer taking out specials one-by-one, and one special trying to solve the case.
